What is Forteaud?

Forteaud (AUDF) is a digital stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Australian Dollar (AUD). It is designed to bridge traditional Australian financial systems with blockchain technology, providing a stable, secure, and transparent digital asset for the Web3 ecosystem. The project aims to facilitate seamless cross-border payments, decentralized finance (DeFi) integration, and daily transactions without the volatility typically associated with cryptocurrencies.

How Does Forteaud Work?

Forteaud operates as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche blockchains. It maintains its value through a fully collateralized reserve of Australian dollars held in secure, regulated Australian bank accounts. For every AUDF token minted, an equivalent amount of fiat AUD is deposited into reserves. Smart contracts manage the issuance and redemption processes, ensuring that the 1:1 peg is maintained and verified through blockchain transparency.

What Makes Forteaud Unique?

Forteaud stands out by offering a highly regulated and transparent stablecoin solution specifically for the Australian market. Key features include monthly proof-of-reserve audits conducted by MVA Bennett and technical security audits by Source Hat. Its multi-chain availability (Ethereum, Polygon, and Avalanche) allows for low-cost, high-speed transactions, making it an ideal bridge for institutional investors and retail users looking for AUD-denominated liquidity in DeFi.

Who Are the Founders of Forteaud?

Forteaud was developed by Forte Technology Solutions (FTS), led by a team of experts in finance and blockchain. Key figures include James Turner, a fintech veteran with over 15 years in banking; Emily Chen, a blockchain developer focused on DeFi architecture; and Michael Roberts, a specialist in regulatory compliance. Their collective expertise ensures the project adheres to Australian financial standards while leveraging cutting-edge distributed ledger technology.
